SUMMARY:The Mission of God: A morning with Dr. Christopher J.H. Wright\, 25th Feb 2026
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to have Dr Christopher J. H. Wright join us at Crown Jesus HQ on Wednesday 25th February 2026\, 11am-1pm\, when he will sharing about ‘The Mission of God.’ \nDr. Chris was born in Belfast\, the son of missionary parents\, and was nurtured as a Presbyterian. He attended & married his wife Liz at Berry Street Church (now Hope Chapel Lane). \nAfter studying at Cambridge\, and beginning his career as a schoolteacher at Grosvenor High School\, he completed a doctorate in Old Testament economic ethics and was ordained in the Church of England. Chris served as an assistant pastor until 1983\, before moving to India for five years with his family to teach & engage in mission. \nOn returning to the UK\, he became Academic Dean and later Principal of All Nations Christian College. In 2001\, he was appointed International Director of the Langham Partnership International\, and now serves as their Global Ambassador and Ministry Director (www.langham.org). \nChris and his wife\, Liz\, belong to All Souls Church\, Langham Place\, London\, where he continues to preach regularly. \n(He is also one of the guest speakers at our School of Evangelism\, but this morning is open to all with a particular encouragement to those in positions of Church and Ministry leadership to attend.) \nAt the event on the 25th Feb Chris will teach\, hold an open Q&A session\, and have his book ‘The Mission of God’ (now fully updated and revised) available for purchase. We will also discuss his excellent online course ‘Understanding Mission’ that equips the Church for both local and global mission. \nThis is a free event. Registration is essential. Spaces are limited. \nRegistration will close on Monday 23rd Feb at 12noon.  Please arrive at 10:45am to allow time to get tea/coffee\, and we will start at 11am sharp.
