The name is intended to communicate four purposes:

1. That Jesus is Alive.  His death on the cross was not the end.
2. That the Church is Alive. Removing long-held misconceptions.
3. The Power of the Gospel brings people Alive.
4. The desire to see communities revived and Alive.

'Alive' events are wide ranging, for example: Gala Dinners, our own five week course (The Journey), breakfasts, coffee mornings, 5-a-side football tournaments, women's fitness/wellbeing sessions, home visitation programme, Gospel church meetings and evangelistic missions.  We believe there is room for every kind of evangelism and ‘Alive' allows for this.  In addition, we offer many types of training courses to help both individuals and groups share their faith.

At the core of these events are Christians inviting non-Christian folks to where they will hear the Gospel. The personal touch of inviting a friend or family member is vital to the success of 'Alive' programmes.
